Katherine (Katie) Keegan, an Emory University DOE CSGF recipient, works to make datasets scientifically accurate and mathematically useful for training generative AI models. Her Ph.D. research in computational mathematics relies on the computing allocation on National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC)'s Perlmutter supercomputer that she receives through the DOE CSGF.
