Generally speaking, scientists/engineers have trouble communicating with their public officials. And yet, it is vital for them to communicate to their public officials effectively and efficiently to garner public support for their work.

Dr. Telson will discuss these issues, and ideas that might be helpful for addressing them, based on his experiences starting from his 1973 congressional fellowship.
