Magnetic fields in clusters of galaxies are essentially ubiquitous and dynamically important - and poorly understood. Fortunately, we can use simulations to explore models of magnetic field growth and evolution. In particular, we will demonstrate the use of large-scale simulations in a variety of contexts – from galactic to supercluster scales – to explore the origins of these magnetic fields in galaxy outflows and Active Galactic Nuclei jets, their subsequent evolution over billions of years, and the resulting observational consequences.
