This session will describe the computing systems at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF), how to obtain access to those resources, the computational and user services support that is available to new and experienced users of HPC, and selected examples of leading-edge computational science and engineering projects that are being carried out at the ALCF. The ALCF currently operates Intrepid, an IBM Blue Gene/P system with 163,640 cores and a peak speed of 557 Teraflops, and Eureka, a large cluster dedicated to visualization and data analysis. A preview will also be given of Mira, the Blue Gene/Q system that will be installed at the ALCF in the near future. There will be ample opportunity for questions.
