Computational Science Graduate fellows become part of an innovative group learning to solve problems outside traditional boundaries. The annual program reviews make it possible for these leaders to get together, share ideas and support one another.

Prior to this year’s program review, the program reviews were held biennially, and in locations other than the Washington D.C. area. But they were deemed valuable enough to be held annually, and (except for the 2000 conference) have hereafter been held in the D.C. area to facilitate attendance by DOE personnel and Congressional staff, as well as to give the fellows an opportunity to meet with Congressional staff from their districts.
