From studying the strength of tantalum in grad school to studying the strength of meteorites at NASA, I will talk about my transition from student to postdoc. I will discuss the research I do studying the surfaces of asteroids and the science missions I'm involved with, including two experiments on the International Space Station. I also will talk about my involvement in mission concept development and analog missions.
