High Energy Density Science on the Z Facility at Sandia National Laboratories

The Z facility at Sandia National Laboratories is used to explore many areas of high energy density science. Experiments range from material equation of state measurements to laboratory astrophysics to inertial confinement fusion and stockpile stewardship. In this talk I will give a summary of a few areas of research that I have been involved in, what motivated me to join Sandia after completing my Ph.D., and what my experience has been like for the last 2+ years.
