The Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration Stewardship Science and Laboratory Residency graduate fellowships will offer a December 10 webinar to outline the 2026-27 application process and answer related questions.
Facilitated by the Krell Institute's DOE NNSA SSGF and LRGF program coordinator Kris Moran, this presentation will cover fellowship eligibility, benefits and requirements—plus insight into application components including the program of study (SSGF), lab mentor and residency plan (LRGF), essays, reference letters and transcripts. The session will be limited to 60 minutes, including time for Q&A. Attendees are encouraged to use Zoom's Q&A function to submit and up-vote questions which will be fielded live.
Reminder: The 2026-27 DOE NNSA SSGF application opened in mid-October and will close January 13, 2026. The 2026-27 DOE NNSA LRGF application opened in late October and will close March 4, 2026.
