This poster will show results from a computational study of a droplet rising in an inclined channel with parallel walls. Cases where the droplet hits the upper wall, forms a contact line, and continues to slip along the wall are of special interest. Care must be taken in these cases to ensure the proper contact angle is formed and maintained.

Several variants of the level set method have been used to model the droplets and they will be compared in cases with varying Reynolds and Bond numbers. Adaptive mesh refinement (AMR) is also used around the surface of the droplet and results with and without AMR will be compared.
