We present our newly installed mid-infrared 0.3 TW peak-power OPCPA system. Producing 25 mJ, 80 fs pulses centered at 3.9 microns, this system opens new avenues for high-power nonlinear optics and plasma interaction experiments in the mid-infrared. We report recent results on standoff detection of radioactive materials and generation of radio frequency electromagnetic pulses, as well as plans for future experiments.
