From Research to Regulation, or Nicole Goes to Washington

The potential possibilities for employment after graduate school are seemingly endless and applying for non-academic jobs can be unfamiliar and difficult to navigate. I will discuss my job at the NRC, how it is different from academia, and the process I went through to begin working for the federal government. I also will discuss the NRC’s overall mission and general organization.
