Forrest Doss

Forrest Doss obtained degrees in physics and mechanical engineering at West Virginia University and a master's in applied mathematics from the University of Cambridge. He acquired his Ph.D. in applied physics at the University of Michigan, which he attended as a member of the inaugural class of DOE NNSA SSGF fellows, working on experiments with the Center for Radiative Shock Hydrodynamics (CRASH). He is currently a research scientist working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in the Theoretical Design division and is principal investigator for the LANL High-Energy-Density Shock/Shear campaigns.
