DOE NNSA SSGF fellows and alumni were invited to attend the one-day High-Performance Computing (HPC) Workshop, a component of the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) Annual Program Review, on Wednesday, July 25.

Also held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, the major goal of this workshop was to discuss some of the challenges in utilizing HPC for scientific and engineering research, to explore effective methods for addressing the challenges, and to review available software tools. The format consisted of general sessions and a series of breakout discussions.
