Annual Conference

Conference attendees take part in many presentations during the two-day meeting of fellows, alumni, DOE laboratory staff and academics

An exciting benefit of the DOE NNSA SSGF program is the opportunity to come together as a fellowship community in Washington, D.C. each summer. The annual conference makes it possible for fellows, alumni, DOE staff and other members of the community to share ideas, support one another and discover research opportunities at Department of Energy laboratories.

By meeting in the nation's capital, the conference facilitates attendance by DOE management personnel and Congressional members and staff, so that they may see for themselves the results of the fellowship program. In addition, fellows can take advantage of this opportunity to visit with their Congressional representatives and engage in the national dialogue of science and technology.
