The two DOE CSGF alumni have made significant contributions to materials science and computational chemistry, respectively, and are also recognized for their impact in mentor and volunteer roles. Formal recognition is set for July.

Eileen Martin is recognized for developing computational and mathematical tools to monitor changes in the Earth’s near-surface.

A panel of program supporters chose alumna Dipti Jasrasaria for her roles in building a graduate student community and advancing nanomaterials research.

The program welcomes it's largest-to-date cohort as it also celebrates supporting more than 600 fellows over 33 years.

Benjamin Toms and Intersphere Inc. will receive $1 million over two years to fully commercialize the company's weather technology.
