Members of the DOE NNSA SSGF's first three fellow classes posed for a photo in front of the White House.

Students in the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration's Stewardship Science Graduate Fellowship program are part of an innovative group charged with advancing our understanding in areas important to stewardship science. An annual program review makes it possible for these leaders to get together, share ideas, support one another, and discover the research opportunities at Department of Energy laboratories.

The second of these meetings was held June 16-19, 2008, as fellows were invited to attend the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) program review. A separate DOE NNSA SSGF welcome dinner served as the first official event for program attendees. While the fellowship's eight students presented posters as part of the DOE CSGF fellows' poster session, it would not be until 2009 that DOE NNSA SSGF students gave talks at the review.

DOE NNSA SSGF poster session abstracts can be found via the link to the left. Please refer to the 2008 DOE CSGF Annual Program Review agenda for the complete schedule of talks and events.
