Laura Berzak Hopkins presented her research at the program's first fellows' poster session.

Students in the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration's Stewardship Science Graduate Fellowship program are part of an innovative group charged with advancing our understanding in areas important to stewardship science. An annual program review makes it possible for these leaders to get together, share ideas, support one another, and discover the research opportunities at Department of Energy laboratories.

The first of these meetings was held June 18-21, 2007, as fellows were invited to attend the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) program review. A separate DOE NNSA SSGF welcome dinner served as the first official event for new attendees, including members of the program's inaugural class who had just completed their initial year of studies. While these five students presented posters as part of the DOE CSGF fellows' poster session, it would not be until 2009 that DOE NNSA SSGF students gave talks at the review.

DOE NNSA SSGF poster session abstracts can be found via the link to the left. Please refer to the 2007 DOE CSGF Annual Program Review agenda for the complete schedule of talks and events.
