The DOE CSGF Annual Conference will take place at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, near Pentagon City and with convenient access to the Crystal City Metro stop.  In addition, the property offers a complimentary shuttle to and from Reagan National Airport.

The Krell Institute has reserved a block of rooms for attendees at a special conference rate.

To reserve a room within the Krell Institute block, reservations must be made via the online conference registration form by Friday, June 29. No guarantee of room availability will be made beyond this date.

All hotel rooms will be single rooms unless otherwise requested. The Krell Institute will direct bill single room and tax only. Krell will not be responsible for penalties due to early check out or failure to cancel. Any charges over single room and tax will be the responsibility of the occupant — in this case, fellows, alumni, practicum coordinators, invited guests, speakers, academic advisors and steering committee members.

Non-reimbursable attendees — such as sponsors, laboratory staff, university coordinators, etc. — may reserve their rooms through the Krell Institute block; however, a credit card will be required at check in to cover any expenses related to the stay.

Marriott Rewards Members: Marriott Rewards members may opt to pay for their own room to accumulate points for their conference stay. Those wishing to do so should include a check-in date, check-out date and valid Marriott Rewards number when completing the conference registration form. This information will be submitted to the hotel and a credit card will be required at check in. Lodging and incidental charges will be billed to the card and will earn Marriott Reward points.

Federal Employees: a limited number of government-rate rooms have been reserved. Federal government employees planning to pay for their own accommodations should contact us for more details.

Confirmation Numbers: All hotel reservations will be submitted to the hotel at the end of June and an email, complete with confirmation number, will follow shortly thereafter.
