Named for the Krell, an advanced civilization that once inhabited the planet Altair IV in the classic 1956 science fiction movie “Forbidden Planet,” the Krell Institute is far from the demise of its namesake characters.  In fact, the Krell Institute flourishes and is working harder than ever to do its part meeting current scientific and technical workforce needs.
