Homework 2: Due 10/12

Figure out the best way to run the steady state heat flow problem on the Power Challenge.

1. Write up code to use the multiprocessing features of the machine, and run a few different sizes of the problem.
2. Time these runs, and see how they compare with the results you achieved in HW 1.
3. Can you now achieve a 1mm spacing of the grid points (remember that you couldn't do so on the sequential machine)?
4. Vary the number of PEs and report on the change in performance for a fixed problem size.
