Course Objectives

Each student will:

1. Understand the function of an operating system.
2. Describe the UNIX file system.
3. Describe the types of file users and file access levels.
4. Use basic UNIX commands.
5. Define text editor.
6. Use the pico text editor to:
   • create a .plan file.
   • create a .signature file
   • create a file using pico.
