Each spring, a state-wide exposition was held in each AiS state. The expos gave the students an opportunity to present their projects to judges representing university professors and industry professionals.

At the expos, judges viewed the student displays and took time to talk with each team about their project. Projects were then scored and winners announced in the following categories:

  • Middle School
  •
  • Level 1: Algebra
  •
  • Level 2: Algebra II/Geometry
  •
  • Level 3: Advanced Mathematics

Awards are given for first, second and third place, honorable mention, best paper, and best display in each category.
